Penny Frazier founded Goods From The Woods in 1995 to sell American-grown pine nuts and other wild-harvested forest products, gathered from native shortleaf pine in the Missouri Ozarks. The farm near Licking also opens for pick-your-own plums, squash, and tomatoes in season. Frazier has long argued for domestic pine nuts over imported ones, and ships them from the farm.
