John and Ken Fuchs opened Fox Vineyards in 1984, and the family still runs it four decades later. Alongside standard Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet, they pour fruit wines made from strawberry, blueberry, and muscadine grown on the property. The tasting room sits on Highway 11 south of Social Circle and stays open Wednesday through Sunday, with tours of the production building included.
