Ecker's Apple Farm grows 20 apple varieties, Honeycrisp among them, on Highway 54 outside Trempealeau above the Mississippi River. Fall brings pick-your-own apples, caramel apples, and fresh pies; summer opens pick-your-own blueberries. The farm runs weekend train rides plus an on-site beer garden called Hog's Back Brew Farm pouring hard ciders, with live music and food trucks. No pets allowed. It also hosts a few June weddings.
