About East Oaks Farm
East Oaks Farm, on Whites Ferry Road in Poolesville, is run by Ali Mohadjer, who trained through the University of Maryland Extension before building it into a working small farm. It raises free-range Rhode Island Red hens on a soy- and GMO-free diet alongside grass-fed cows, goats, and sheep, and grows produce and flowers sold through a CSA.
