About Desert Queen
Desert Queen Honey sells along Carefree Highway in the far north Valley, open Thursday through Sunday from roughly 10 to 5. The honey ships for a flat $6, and the stand doubles as a retail point and a working apiary stop for local beekeepers. It's one of several honey producers clustered along this stretch of highway.
