Ronald and Annie Stewart started Deer Run Farm in 1996 on their family land in northern Frederick County, and it's grown into a regional heritage-poultry hatchery — hatching eggs, day-old chicks, and started pullets ship alongside farm-raised Red Angus beef and Berkshire pork. The beef comes from registered stock, raised without hormones or antibiotics. Current availability posts through their website and Instagram.
