B.F. Clyde's Cider Mill in Old Mystic has pressed apples since 1881 and is the last steam-powered cider mill still operating in the United States. The seasonal mill, open from September 1, makes 14 apple wines and 8 hard ciders on site along with fresh sweet cider and cider donuts, and runs cider-making demonstrations and tastings.
