About This Farm

Chirp Creek Farm works the historic Packard-Littlefield Farm property in Lisbon using two draft horses instead of tractors for tillage. Ben Daley grows vegetables, berries, and seedlings and raises chickens and pigs, all MOFGA and USDA certified organic. The farm sells through a CSA and its own stand, plus the Lewiston, Cumberland, and Falmouth farmers markets. As the farm puts it, the horses do the fieldwork and the humans handle the rest.
