Charleston Tea Garden on Wadmalaw Island calls itself North America's oldest working tea garden, growing Camellia sinensis for its American Classic and Charleston Tea Garden blends. A free factory tour follows the leaf from field to cup, and a ticketed trolley ride runs through the tea rows and greenhouse. The gift shop stocks loose-leaf and bagged tea plus teaware.
