Vaughn and Kendra Burnett started Blue Bird Farm in 2020 after relocating from Texas to the hills above Orofino. The operation is still growing into itself — microgreens, cut flower bouquets, fresh garden produce, and homemade pet treats show up at the Orofino farmers market on Tuesdays and the Kamiah market on Saturdays. A farm stand at Hidden Village Community is open by appointment. Plans for a full CSA, pastured eggs, and meat are in the works.
