Belfast Farmers' Market has operated every Friday since 1980, rain, snow, or shine. From May through October, vendors set up outside Waterfall Arts at 256 High Street, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the colder months the market moves indoors to the Atrium at Seaport Community Health Center, 21 Schoodic Drive, running 9 a.m. to noon. It's one of the longer-running markets on the Maine coast, and it accepts SNAP/EBT and Maine Harvest Bucks for shoppers stretching a grocery budget.
