About Back to Basics Farm

Back to Basics Farm raises Lohman and Highline Brown hens for large brown eggs on pasture outside New Plymouth. Owners Patty and Rob Bielen keep the flock on natural feed only, with no added hormones or medications, rotating birds onto an omega-rich poultry-blend grass through summer and organic barley fodder in winter. The family also runs a sister flock in Grass Valley, California.
