About Arbor Day Farm
Arbor Day Farm covers 260 acres in Nebraska City, Nebraska — not Kansas, despite how this listing is filed — and is home to the Arbor Day Foundation's Lied Lodge, Tree Adventure recreation area, and the Apple House Market. The Foundation grew out of the 1972 centennial of the first Arbor Day observance and has since become the largest tree-planting nonprofit in the country. Arbor Lodge State Historical Park, a 52-room mansion that started as a four-room frame house in 1855, sits on the same grounds.
