About Angle Orchard
Angle Orchard is a u-pick apple and peach orchard on Mount Graham south of Safford, Arizona, started in the early 1920s by Andrew Preston and Viola Angle and still run by their family. Peaches ripen from about the Fourth of July into early September, and apples run August through October, beginning with Gala and Elstar. The orchard grows 11 apple types and about 15 peach varieties. The turnoff sits 7.4 miles from the Swift Trail and Highway 191 junction, and pickers bring their own boxes or bags.
