About Ackerman Farms
Ackerman Farms grew over 150 varieties of pumpkins on US Highway 150 in Morton for 27 years, along with a petting zoo, hayrides, and corn maze that made it a Central Illinois fall staple since 1999. Owner John Ackerman closed the farm to the public after the 2025 season.
