5 Bar Beef is a family cattle ranch based in Silverado, California, operating since 1979 with a closed herd of Barzona cattle raised in the Carrizo Plain and Trabuco Canyon. The cattle graze natural grasses and browse, and the ranch reports no injections or worming chemicals in over 22 years. Its online Ranch Shop sells grass-fed and grass-finished beef, shipping on Wednesdays for next-day delivery in California, Nevada and Arizona. Preorders can be picked up Sunday mornings in Foothill Ranch, and the beef is also sold at Manassero Farms in Irvine.
