Berry Hill Farm closed for good in April 2026, after Jim and Nancy Jedele ran it in Dexter for nearly 40 years starting in 1986. It was known for u-pick red raspberries in the fall, plus pre-picked apples, pumpkins, gourds, and squash. Jedele's farewell post said the farm almost made it to 40 years — a run that outlasted most of the u-pick farms that opened around it.

Eagle

The Huhn family has farmed the same land in Eagle Township since 1893, but the strawberry patch itself is newer — a tenth of an acre planted in 1999 that's grown into a full u-pick and pre-picked operation. Beyond strawberries, the farm sells asparagus, rhubarb, homemade jams, and local honey. The season is short, running early June into early July.
