Wyatt's Strawberries has run pick-your-own since 1975 at its farm on 180th Street East in Hastings, selling u-pick strawberries by the pound and pre-picked by the quart, cash or check only. Asparagus rounds out the spring lineup. The strawberry season lands mid-June to early July, and you can bring your own containers. Call ahead to check patch conditions and place pre-pick orders. Blueberry Fields of Stillwater is a family-run u-pick blueberry farm about four miles northwest of Stillwater, managed by Summer Kuehn and her son alongside Haden Hausken. Picking opens whenever the berries are ready each summer, with some pre-picked berries available too. The farm has organized volunteer field-maintenance days during the off-season to keep the bushes healthy.

Picking runs July into August, Thursday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., cash or personal check only. The farm sits about an hour from the Twin Cities, Eau Claire, or Rochester.

Apple River Vegetables grows produce on Highway 65 in Star Prairie, a St. Croix County village on the Apple River in northwest Wisconsin. As the name says, vegetables are the focus, the sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, and greens typical of a Wisconsin market garden. It's listed for farm visits and produce sales. White Bear Lake

This is the strawberry side of Pine Tree Apple Orchard at 450 Apple Orchard Road near White Bear Lake. Pick-your-own strawberries run a short window from mid-June into early July, before the orchard closes to prep for apple season. The same farm reopens in mid-August with 25 apple varieties, a bakery, and fresh cider.
