Meckley's Flavor Fruit Farm in Cement City, started by Ray and Louise Meckley in 1956, is celebrating over 60 years — an orchard and cider mill with a bakery whose fresh dawn-made donuts, pies, and breads draw travelers from far and wide. The farm has hand-crafted artisan ciders for over 50 years, now poured in its tap room, brewery, and cidery, with u-pick raspberries and apples, fall festivals, and rentable "barndo-mini-um" cabins.

Angola

G.W. Stroh Orchards, now known simply as Stroh Orchard, has grown apples in Angola for decades — current owner Troy Eriksen took over in 2018 after years of selling his own maple syrup and honey nearby. The orchard carries more than 30 apple varieties along with pears, peaches, plums, strawberries, and pumpkins, plus honey, cider, apple butter, jams, and maple syrup. Open June through March, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
