Joe and Clover Quinn started the ranch in 1996 and refine their birds' fat into pure emu oil, which they blend into moisturizers and salves. The oil carries omega-3, -6, and -9 fatty acids and gets used on dry skin, cuts, and sore joints. The ranch also sells emu meat, leather, and feathers.
