Backyard Orchards is a u-pick fruit farm on U.S. Highway 431 north of Eufaula, Alabama, started by sisters Cassie and Allie on family land with their father's help. Strawberries are u-pick and pre-picked from late March to early June, and blueberries and peaches run from early June through August. Vegetables such as sweet corn, okra, tomatoes and collards are sold pre-picked in the barn. Each fall the farm runs a pumpkin patch and corn maze with wagon rides, and admission includes one pumpkin per person.
