Briargate Farmers Market runs Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in season, in the State Farm parking lot at 7610 N. Food to Power runs a no-cost grocery program out of the Hillside neighborhood, redistributing surplus produce and groceries recovered from local supermarkets and school cafeterias. The 501(c)(3) also grows food on its own urban farm at the Hillside Hub, composts food waste, and pays teens through project-based internships in food justice work. It operates from 1090 S Institute St and runs more like a community food hub than a traditional vendor market — the shelves change with whatever gets rescued that week.

Bancroft Park has hosted this market for more than 40 years, and it's grown into one of Colorado Springs' largest, with over 80 vendors and food trucks on a given Saturday. Hours run 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., June through October, with sweet corn, squash, cantaloupe, fresh herbs, cheese and bread alongside soaps, crafts and cut flowers.

The Fountain Farmers Market sets up at 205 S. Fountain Street on Tuesdays, late May through October, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with fruit, vegetables, eggs, honey, preserves, breads, tamales, and natural soap from regular vendors. When the outdoor season ends, it moves indoors to the Localvore Colorado Co-Op store on Tuesdays through winter, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Founded in 2009, this market sets up in downtown Monument on Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., May through October, then moves indoors to Grace Best School for a winter season. The vendor list runs long: organic produce, honey, cheese, poultry, mushrooms, nursery plants and prepared foods share table space with soap and craft vendors.
